On 27th and 28th November, RES4Africa took part to the workshop organised by MedReg in Amman, Jordan, where international energy experts presented a concrete roadmap and technical solutions to Jordanian energy stakeholders to improve the country’s electricity licensing procedures on the one hand, and to accelerate investment in the Jordanian storage system on the other.
The event saw the involvement of RES4Africa:
- 27/11: panel speaker on "Granting the regulator with effective enforcement powers - benefits and challenges for the electricity market", bringing the study of the liberalisation of the Moroccan electricity MV market as international benchmark example.
- 28/11: moderator and organiser of the panel on"Accelerating investments in electricity storage: drivers, barriers, technical solutions and business models".
RES4Africa members Enel Green Power, Engie EPS and Friem also took part in the panel discussion. RES4Africa's contribution to the event, particularly regarding the themes of the Water-Energy-Food Nexus and renewAfrica, was well-received and raised interest among attendees. Read more
